Resources for identifying key areas towards 3D art process

I've so far found some ideal sources of information and key areas about applying concept art in character design between 2D and 3D. I've researched into the following books and DVDs that explains about this topic in order to support the project's research in the dissertation:

Books
  • 3D Creature Development Master Class: Pipeline Guide, by Alex Alvarez (also known to be one of the talented 3D artists in the industry).
  • d'artiste: Character Modeling 2, by Daniel Wade and Paul Hellard.

DVDs

  • Gnomon Workshop: Creative Character Design Techniques, Fostering "Happy Accidents" with Neville Page.
  • Gnomon Workshop: Character Design Pipeline, Production Art & Techniques with Barontieri.

I'm still going to continue with this research, but also to prepare for my next meeting with Lynn, to discuss about the topic agenda, process, and the agreed action points (also to record these meetings with the new word document layout as an electronic diary for the honours project).
