While I wait for any feedback on my project ideas, I've thought about looking into one of the research questions based on exploring Character Design. I've also thought about my Aim and Objectives towards exploring into this research question.
Specific Research Question
"In visual style theory, how can geometry shapes help design and develop visually attractive game characters to catch the audience's interests?"
Project Aim:
To gather research on visual art styles along with examples of existed characters from games to animations with their own visual shapes and forms in order to design and develop eye-catching characters towards games based on any chosen genre (sci-fi, fantasy, hybrid).
Project's Purpose:
New ways to develop visually attractive characters with their own shapes and form from concept art to 3D modelling and animation.
Project's Objectives:
1. Explore and discuss how shapes can be used as part of the character design process and reasons to why this was done.
2. Research different visual art infuences to explain and show how these types of methodes would benefit towards your own character designs.
3. Research and compare existing characters from games characters with their own visual styles, genre, personalities, compositions, and directions.
4. Work on different character concepts, and once finalised, produce a short 3D animation with audio to represent the characters designed in your own visual style towards being the core of your own research.
